Abhinav now calls me "Avi"...no papa/dad/whatever. The family elders are aghast ! My Aunt hit the roof when she heard him. Strangely it does not feel awkward to me.

Have they heard of something called.........."Freedom of Speech" .

Hey abhinav....go ahead..as long as papa, avi or dad knows it is him who you are referring too.. the purpose is served.

my best friends name is also avinash shenoy... its funny i bumped into ur journal and read this particular post. its funny how my friend and me both love the name'avi' and he always said whenever i will have a child, he/she will call me avi....
so cheers to 'avi'
